CTOnews.com learned that sales in Fuji's imaging division in the first quarter of fiscal 2022 were 82.5 billion yen, up 13.6% from a year earlier, and operating profit was 10.5 billion yen, up 31.8% from a year earlier.

In the consumer-grade imaging business, sales of primary imaging products, color paper and dry printing equipment and materials have boosted sales, officials said. In terms of professional imaging business, although the sales of digital cameras were affected by the novel coronavirus epidemic in China, the sales revenue was basically the same as the previous year, thanks to the company's optimization of logistics structure and ensuring maximum supply.
