The success of this latest test will pave the way for the application of Mobileye SuperVision in more vehicles. In the coming weeks, Mobileye plans to conduct more similar demonstrations in other parts of the world, opening the door to further implementation of this eye-catching, comprehensive new driving assistance solution in the near future.

On the performance side, according to Intel's financial report, Mobileye was a great success in the second quarter, with revenue of $460 million, up 41% from a year earlier, better than the relatively flat growth rate of global car production. Profitability was also strong, with an operating profit of $190 million (up 43 per cent year-on-year) and an operating margin of 41 per cent.
