Guinan High-speed Railway runs through the northwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the southeast of Guizhou Province. It is an important part of Baohai Passage in China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, and is also the first high-speed railway with a design speed of 350km/h in Guangxi.

In addition, Guiyang-South High-speed Railway has a total length of 482 kilometers, 964 kilometers of main track laying construction, 193 bridges and 108 tunnels in total, and the whole line is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2023.
