According to the official introduction, as the core light-emitting structure unit in the OLED display screen, the advanced material and process debugging effect of the light-emitting device will directly affect the picture quality of the screen.

Compared with the previous generation of Q8 devices, the power consumption of the new generation of Q9 light-emitting devices launched by BOE has been greatly reduced by 15%. The DCIcopyright P3 color gamut has been increased from 110% to 116%, and the service life has been increased by 10%. At the same time, the harmful blue light is controlled below 6.0%, far below the industry average.

At the same time, BOE also officially released a new blue diamond pixel arrangement developed by itself, which optimizes the underlying logical framework of the pixel display, and the screen display is fully upgraded. The use of blue diamond pixels arrangement will greatly eliminate the sense of fine particles displayed on the screen, even tens of times magnification to view small text can also display ultra-high-definition fine picture, the overall visual effect is greatly improved by 20%.

In addition, the pixel opening ratio of the display screen determines the service life of OLED devices. The newly released blue diamond ™pixel arrangement opening rate can reach 26.16%, which is significantly increased by 30% compared with other diamond-like solutions, bringing extremely shocking visual effects and stable quality assurance to flexible OLED intelligent terminals.

CTOnews.com learned that BOE also revealed that its annual shipments of flexible OLED are expected to reach 80 million pieces in 2022, and move towards the goal of 100 million shipments.

In addition, new application forms such as folding OLED notebook, internal and external folding, Z-shaped 70% discount display, sliding scroll display, mirror display, intelligent cockpit display and other new application forms were also displayed at the tasting event.

Among them, the OLED notebook with a 17.3-inch foldable touch screen of BOE has been shipped exclusively for ASUS (Asustek) and will be put on sale this year.

According to officials, as the first domestic company to enter the flexible OLED field, BOE invested nearly 140 billion yuan to build China's first flexible OLED industrial cluster in southwest China, including three world-leading flexible AMOLED production lines in Chengdu, Mianyang and Chongqing. The overall flexible OLED production capacity accounts for nearly 30% of the global production capacity. Among them, the 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line of Chengdu, as the first flexible AMOLED display production line in China, breaks the industrial gap of flexible OLED in China and is of epoch-making significance for reshaping the global industrial pattern. At present, BOE has set up two flexible AMOLED technology R & D centers in Beijing and Chengdu, with a core R & D team of more than 1,000 people, including nearly 700 senior researchers and technical experts.
