According to CTOnews.com on August 17, data from the reporting Center of the Central Internet Information Office showed that in July 2022, the national Internet letter reporting departments and major website platforms accepted 14.414 million reports, down 3.8 percent from the previous month and 14.5 percent from the same period last year.

Among them, the illegal and undesirable information reporting center of the Central Internet Information Office (State Internet Information Office) accepted 544000 reports, an increase of 18.9% month-on-month and 73.0% over the same period last year. 773000 reports were accepted by local online letter reporting departments, down 0.9% from the previous month and 31.8% from the same period last year. The country's major website platforms accepted 13.097 million reports, down 4.8 per cent from the previous month and 15.0 per cent from the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that among the reports accepted by the major website platforms across the country, the major commercial website platforms accounted for 56.7%, reaching 7.426 million.
