Sichuan is also one of the important manufacturing bases for the new display industry in China. Due to the industrial power policy, Sichuan display industry chain has been affected to varying degrees, the key enterprises potentially affected include upstream supporting manufacturers Guangming Optoelectronics, Luwei Optoelectronics, Ossett, etc., mid-stream panel manufacturers BOE, Huike, Tianma, Xinli, CLP Panda, downstream display terminal manufacturers Changhong, TCL, Foxconn, Compal, Wizhuang, Quanta and so on.

At present, it shows that the enterprises in the upper and lower reaches of the industrial chain are still doing everything possible to reduce losses. After all, if the panel production line is directly cut off and shut down, the equipment and the good rate of the production line will be affected after the power supply is restored, and it will take some time for the good rate to climb the slope, so now panel manufacturers mainly adopt the strategy of power outage and cycle recovery of some equipment according to each section to ensure energy saving and emission reduction while ensuring production efficiency. At the same time, there are some manufacturers through self-power generation and other ways to reduce losses, but at the same time have to face several times the cost and safety problems, although supporting enterprises have also prepared other plans, is the actual effectiveness of the need for further observation.

Another show that industry analysts said that if it is only a week or so to take turns to stop production, basically not much impact. At present, the LCD panel is in a state of oversupply, the price has fallen below the cost, taking advantage of the lack of electricity homeopathy to stop production for a few days, but contribute to inventory adjustment. However, there is still a good market demand for OLED, vehicle liquid crystal display and some display materials, and the suspension of production will directly reduce the output, delay the delivery time, and affect the normal commercial operation in the short term.

In addition, Sichuan is also an important area of China's manufacturing industry. Tongwei shares, Trina Solar Energy, Jingke Energy, Xiexin Technology and other leading photovoltaic enterprises have set up production projects. The power restriction policy also has a certain impact on the production of photovoltaic enterprises at all levels, such as silicon, silicon wafers and battery wafers.

As the photovoltaic industry in Sichuan involves many industrial chains, what is the specific impact? It still depends on the power cut arrangement. Industry analysts pointed out that as the current average price of silicon has exceeded 300000 yuan / ton, if there continue to be unstable factors affecting silicon supply, the possibility that the price of the industrial chain will continue to rise will not be ruled out.

Short-term impact controllable as the center of the development of the integrated circuit industry in the central and western regions, Sichuan Province brings together many enterprises in the semiconductor industry chain, such as design, wafer foundry, package testing and so on.

Among them, semiconductor companies with production facilities include TI, Intel (Chengdu closed Test Plant), on Semiconductor (Leshan closed Test Plant), Diodes (Chengdu closed Test Plant), Molex, ASM, MPS, Shilan Micro (Chengdu closed Test Plant), Huawei Electronics, Vibrator Technology and so on. Photovoltaic silicon leader Tongwei shares said that at present, the blackout plan is still in communication, is actively cooperating with the relevant departments to adjust the load in an orderly manner, with the follow-up power situation effectively alleviated, the company's power consumption will return to the normal level.

Jingke Energy said that in the face of high-temperature power cuts, the overall production capacity of the industry is affected in the short term, which is expected to be alleviated after cooling. At present, it is actively coordinating the production capacity of other bases and actively applying for electricity protection to minimize the impact.

In addition to Sichuan, due to the impact of continuous high temperature weather, power shortage has spread to many areas in China, including Wuhan, Chongqing, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other areas have introduced the policy of returning electricity to the people.

It is understood that following two consecutive emergency video conferences on power supply on August 11 and 14, Sichuan held another power supply scheduling meeting on August 15. At present, Sichuan has launched three-level power supply regulation and control measures to protect people's livelihood.

With regard to the production problems caused by the power restriction policy of industrial enterprises, most enterprises say that the short-term impact is still under control, and the government and relevant departments are also actively helping enterprises to solve the production problems, which are expected to be alleviated in the coming week.
