Tencent "PUBG Mobile" (merging "Game for Peace" revenue) ranked No. 2 on the list with $164 million in revenue. Of this, 69 per cent of its revenue comes from its Chinese iOS market, while the US market accounts for 6.4 per cent.

The other three games in the top five are Miha you "original God", King "Candy Crush Saga" and "Roblox".

CTOnews.com learned that mobile players around the world paid about $6.7 billion on App Store and Google Play in July 2022, down 10.2% from a year earlier. The United States remains the world's highest revenue market for mobile games, contributing $1.9 billion, accounting for 28.4 percent of global revenue. The Japanese market ranks second, accounting for 20%, while China's iOS market ranks third, accounting for 17.8%.
