CTOnews.com, August 14, the latest Sensor Tower report shows that in July 2022, mobile game players around the world paid about $6.7 billion on App Store and Google Play, down 10.2% from a year earlier.

In July 2022, the world's largest market by revenue was the United States, which created $1.9 billion, accounting for 28.4 percent of global player spending. Japan ranks second with 20 per cent of income, followed by China without Google Play, accounting for 17.8 per cent.

In July 2022, the world's highest-paid mobile game was "Arena of Valor" from Tencent, with players contributing $225.8 million, of which about 94.6 per cent came from Chinese mainland, followed by Taiwan and 1.6 per cent from Thailand.

In addition to "Arena of Valor", the second place is still Tencent's "PUBG Mobile", and the third place is Mihayou "original God", compared with last month's ranking swap. This was followed by King's candy legend (Candy Crush Saga) and Roblox from Roblox Corporation.

CTOnews.com learned that PUBG Mobile's total revenue in July was $164.3 million, of which about 69 per cent came from China, or Game for Peace, followed by 6.4 per cent from the US.
