CTOnews.com, August 14, Apple recently removed the "hide my email" support from third-party apps from the macOS Ventura feature page of the Apple US website.

Apple says that with iCloud+ subscriptions, users will be able to "protect the privacy of your personal email address by hiding email in third-party applications". It's not clear why Apple removed the feature from the page, but it may be because users can already create random email addresses and use them through the system preferences / system Settings application or iCloud.com using hide my Mail. Manage these emails in third-party applications on Mac.

This feature is still listed on macOS Ventura pages in many other countries, but Apple may not have updated its regionalized site in a timely manner.

"Hidden my email" was first launched on Mac devices with macOS Monterey last year. This feature generates unique random email addresses that are automatically forwarded to the user's personal inbox, allowing the user to hide the actual email address to increase privacy. On macOS Monterey, this feature is integrated directly into Apple's Safari and email applications. In the mail application, you can find "hide my message" in the pop-up menu in the from field.

"hide my messages" is included in the iCloud+ storage plan at no extra charge, starting at $0.99 per month in the United States. You can also use hide my messages when you create an account in Safari using the Login using Apple feature released in 2019.
