Troy Teslike gave the latest analysis: as of the end of July, Tesla's order backlog was 504000 vehicles. There has been almost no change in the backlog of Tesla orders since mid-March.

Among them, the backlog of super factories in Shanghai reached 263000, mainly for domestic and export to Europe, Asia-Pacific and other places.

However, Tesla's Shanghai factory upgraded its production line in July, so both export volume and domestic delivery have decreased significantly. According to Tesla's plan, when this upgrade is completed, the annual production capacity of the Shanghai plant is expected to break through the 750000 vehicles mark to become the largest factory, producing 14000 Model Y vehicles and about 7700 Model 3 vehicles per week.

According to the Troy Teslike survey, the average waiting time for American Model Y owners who picked up their cars in the second quarter of 2022 was 175 days, while the average waiting time for Model 3 owners was 89 days. It seems that the relationship between supply and demand has not improved.

Today, Tesla officially decided not to accept subscriptions from North American and Canadian markets for the long-lasting version of Model 3.

In response, some netizens asked Musk on the social platform why he no longer accepted subscriptions for the long-lasting version of Model 3. Musk responded that the waiting list is too long and that bookings will be resumed as Tesla's production capacity climbs.
