According to reports, the Shenzhou 14 astronauts will carry out activities from the weather lock module in the near future to carry out their first spacewalk, which is expected.

CTOnews.com learned that 10:44 on June 5, 2022, Beijing time, the long March II F Yao 14 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft was ignited and launched from the Jiuquan Satellite launch Center. About 577 seconds later, the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft successfully separated from the rocket, entered the scheduled orbit, the flight crew was in good condition, and the launch was a complete success. Three astronauts, Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe, have since launched a six-month mission.

On June 6, the astronauts of Shenzhou 14, who had been stationed in the sky and core module of the space station, successfully opened the door of the cargo module of Tianzhou IV aboard the crew. After completing preparatory work such as environmental testing, they successfully entered the Tianzhou IV cargo spacecraft at 12:19.

14:22 on July 24, 2022, Beijing time, the long March 5B Yao-3 carrier rocket carrying the experimental module was ignited and launched on time at the Wenchang space launch site in China. About 495seconds later, the module was successfully separated from the rocket and entered the scheduled orbit. The launch was a complete success.

After the experimental module was put into orbit, the status setting was successfully completed. At 03:13 on July 25, it was successfully docked at the front port of the sky and the core module. The whole rendezvous and docking process lasted about 13 hours. This is the first rendezvous and docking of two 20-ton spacecraft in orbit and the first rendezvous and docking of astronauts in the space station during their stay in orbit.

The Shenzhou 14 astronauts successfully opened the door of the experimental module at 10:03 on July 25, 2022, and successfully entered the experimental module.

According to the plan, the Shenzhou 14 astronauts will carry out extravehicular activities from the weather lock module. In order to complete the task of leaving the cabin for the first time, the Shenzhou-14 crew has carried out an on-orbit test of the small robotic arm installed outside the experimental module with the support of ground personnel.
