CTOnews.com August 13 news, according to foreign media news, Dell released in the first half of this year XPS 13 Plus developer version pre-installed Ubuntu Linux system. The latest version of the laptop, which comes pre-installed with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, starts at $1299 (about 8755.26 yuan).

According to reports, the basic version of this notebook is equipped with Intel Core i5-1240P processor, 1920 x 1200 screen, 8GB LPDDR5-5200 memory and 512GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. Up to Intel Core i7-1260p Magazine 3840 x 2400 OLED display as well as 32GB memory and 2TB storage space are optional.

CTOnews.com reported that in July this year, Dell and Canonical announced that the Dell XPS 13 Plus became the industry's first notebook computer with Ubuntu 22.04 long-term support (LTS) certification. Standard support for Dell XPS 13 Plus is scheduled to end in 2027 and completely discontinued by 2032.

In June this year, Dell's new generation of flagship lightweight XPS 13 Plus equipped with Windows system went on sale, the 12th generation i7 + 16GB + 512GB, with an initial price of 15599 yuan.
