CTOnews.com learned that Huawei's overall operating results in the first half of this year were in line with expectations. In the first half of 2022, Huawei achieved sales revenue of 301.6 billion yuan and a net profit margin of 5.0%. Among them, the operator's business income is 142.7 billion yuan, the enterprise business income is 54.7 billion yuan, and the terminal business income is 101.3 billion yuan.

For comparison, Huawei achieved sales revenue of 320.4 billion yuan in the first half of 2021, with a net profit margin of 9.8%; operators' business income was 136.9 billion yuan, enterprise business income was 42.9 billion yuan, and consumer business income was 135.7 billion yuan. The overall operating results are in line with expectations (excluding the profit from the sale of Glory).

Hu Houyi, chairman of Huawei, said: "although the terminal business has been greatly affected, the ICT infrastructure business has maintained steady growth. It is worth mentioning that Huawei achieved 636.8 billion yuan in global sales revenue and 113.7 billion yuan in net profit in 2021, an increase of 75.9 percent over the same period last year. Among them, Huawei invested 142.7 billion yuan in R & D in 2021, accounting for 22.4% of the annual income, and the cumulative R & D expenditure over the past ten years exceeded 845 billion yuan.
