During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, Anhui Province set up a new energy automobile industry development fund under the fund system of "triple innovation," but the investment period is nearing the end, and the scale is far from meeting the vigorous development demand of new energy vehicles and intelligent network-connected vehicles.

Therefore, the provincial party committee and the provincial government consider establishing a new theme fund for new energy vehicles and intelligent network-connected automobile industry under the provincial emerging industry guidance fund system. The mother-child fund structure mode will be adopted, and 4 billion yuan of emerging industry guidance fund will be preliminarily considered as the mother fund, mainly supporting cities, counties and market entities to set up sub-funds in relevant fields in the form of equity participation. The total scale of the mother-child fund shall not be less than 18 billion yuan, focusing on the industrial cultivation and "double recruitment and double introduction" in the field of new energy vehicles and intelligent network-connected vehicles.

A few days ago, Anhui Province issued "Several Policies to Support Quality Improvement, Quantity Expansion and Efficiency Improvement of New Energy Automobile and Intelligent Network Automobile Industry," proposing to set up and operate the theme mother fund of provincial new energy automobile and intelligent network automobile industry, mainly attracting social capital by means of equity participation to set up special sub-fund or special purpose fund in Anhui Province, focusing on supporting the development of backbone enterprises of new energy automobile and intelligent network automobile industry and the construction of major projects of "double recruitment and double introduction."
