With regard to reliability, core components such as hinges and middle frames are made of materials much higher than the industry standard. Earlier, officials stressed that Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 would "break the last kilometer of the folding screen" and let the folding screen enter the practical era.

So what about this product? You might as well take a look at the out-of-the-box picture of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, and I'm sure you'll find the answer.

The second part: in the design of the outer screen of the mobile phone, the millet MIX Fold 2 is no longer a "remote control" model. the 21:9 outer screen is no different from the mainstream straight screen machine. In the folding state, it is a straight screen flagship machine. More importantly, the millet MIX Fold 2 is extremely light and thin, with a unilateral thickness of only 5.4mm, and even when folded, the thickness is only 11.2mm, which is similar to that of a traditional straight-screen machine with a protective case, so it can be used as a straight-screen machine.

The weight of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is only 262g, which is even lighter than the smaller OPPO Find N, and only 7g heavier than Huawei Mate Xs 2, which is featured with no trace. But you know, the latter is a folded design, and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 has one more screen.

In terms of color matching, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 offers Moon Shadow Black and Star Gold, while CTOnews.com gets the Star Gold version. This is a very neutral, soft gold, retaining the gold itself "noble", but not so flamboyant, looks very elegant.

The design on the back of the phone is also very simple. The golden rear shell under the AG frosted glass is like a thin layer of frost. The light is not dazzling, but it has a foggy beauty, and it is not easy to stick off fingerprint sweat stains.

The whole image module protrudes from the fuselage and adopts a similar "levitation" design. Inside the module, the camera is arranged in the form of big circle, small circle and small square on the left, complementary lights and Leica logo on the right, and a circular supplementary light on the left side of the Leica logo.

The millet MIX Fold 2 has an outer screen size of 6.56in, with a display ratio of 21:9, a resolution of 2520x1080 ≈ E5, P3 color gamut, JNCD ≈ 0.29recoery deltae ≈ 0.34, Dolby Vision and HDR10+, contrast 800000 MIX Fold 1, 10bit dark color and Corning gorilla glass Victus on the surface.

The outer screen basically achieves the visual narrowness of the four sides, which is very surprising. The right side of the screen is designed with a micro-bend and a hole is punched in the middle of the screen, which is the only front-facing camera of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2.

When unfolded, the inner screen of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is 8.02 inches and uses Schott ultra-thin UTG glass. The display effect of the inner screen is exactly the same as that of the outer screen, including: resolution 2520x1080, P3 color gamut, JNCD ≈ 0.29 dint deltae ≈ 0.34, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, contrast 800000000 Dolby Vision, 10bit color depth, and so on.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 2's inner screen is also the only screen made of Samsung Eco ²OLED material. Official data show that Eco ²OLED (Pol-Less) ultra-thin low-power screen removes the Polarizer polarizer from the original screen and replaces it with a color filter and introduces a new black matrix material between pixels to reduce intra-screen reflection. With ultra-low reflective AR film, the reflectivity is reduced to < 2%. Pol-Less technology can increase the light transmittance of the screen by up to 33%, reduce power consumption by 25%, and further reduce power consumption by adding LTPO 2.0 features.

In terms of rotating shaft, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 uses a self-developed integrated micro-droplet rotating shaft, which is also the key to why Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 can be so thin. To put it simply, the "water droplets" formed by the folded screen of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 are smaller. It is reported that the entire hinge folding thickness of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 has been reduced to only 8.8mm, which is much lower than the 11, 12mm thickness of the mainstream in the industry. As a result, the millet MIX Fold 2 achieves that even in the folded state, the thickness of the fuselage is only 11.2mm.

In terms of creases, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 uses the self-developed "wonder curvature" technology, which simply relies on rigorous simulation calculations to disperse the stress area of the screen to reduce creases. The official data is less than the crease depth of 0.15mm.
