CTOnews.com August 12 news, today, the State Post Bureau announced the operation of the postal industry in July 2022. From January to July, the business income of the postal industry (excluding the direct business income of the Postal savings Bank) totaled 767.73 billion yuan, an increase of 7.4 percent over the same period last year, and the total business volume totaled 801.59 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7 percent over the same period last year.

In July, the business income of the whole industry reached 113.42 billion yuan, an increase of 13.3 percent over the same period last year, and the total business volume reached 120.74 billion yuan, an increase of 10.9 percent over the same period last year.

From January to July, the total volume of postal services totaled 130.8 billion yuan, an increase of 6.4 percent over the same period last year; the volume of postal delivery services totaled 16.57 billion, an increase of 10.3 percent over the same period last year; and revenue from postal delivery services totaled 23.03 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2 percent over the same period last year.

In July, the total volume of postal service business reached 15.64 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2 percent over the same period last year; the business volume of postal delivery services completed 2.35 billion pieces, an increase of 6.6 percent over the same period last year; and revenue from postal delivery services reached 3.12 billion yuan, an increase of 11.2 percent over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that data from the State Post Bureau show that from January to July, the business volume of express delivery enterprises across the country totaled 60.86 billion, an increase of 4.3 percent over the same period last year, and business revenue totaled 588.04 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7 percent over the same period last year. Of these, 7.31 billion pieces of business were completed in the same city, down 4.9% from the same period last year; 52.52 billion pieces of business were completed in other places, up 6.3% from the same period last year; and 1.03 billion pieces of international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business were completed, down 17.8% from the same period last year.

In July, the business volume of national express service enterprises completed 9.65 billion pieces, an increase of 8.0% over the same period last year, and business revenue reached 89.82 billion yuan, an increase of 8.6% over the same period last year.

From January to July, the volume of express delivery in the same city, other places, and international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan accounted for 12.0%, 86.3% and 1.7% of the total express business respectively, and the business income accounted for 6.6%, 49.1% and 10.8% of the total express business revenue, respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express business in the same city decreased by 1.2 percentage points, the proportion of express business in other places increased by 1.6 percentage points, and the proportion of international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business decreased by 0.4 percentage points.

From January to July, the proportion of express business volume in the eastern, central and western regions was 77.1%, 15.4% and 7.5% respectively, and the proportion of business income was 77.4%, 13.3% and 9.3%, respectively.

Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express business volume and revenue in the eastern region decreased by 1.5 percentage points and 1.1 percentage points respectively.

The proportion of express business volume in the central region increased by 1.2 percentage points, and the proportion of express business revenue increased by 0.6 percentage points.

The proportion of express business volume in the western region increased by 0.3 percentage points, and the proportion of income from express delivery business increased by 0.5 percentage points.
