CTOnews.com, August 12 (Xinhua)-- Douyin and its overseas version of TikTok topped the global mobile app (non-game) download list in July 2022 with more than 69 million downloads, an increase of 13.2 percent over July 2021, according to the latest Sensor Tower data.

Of these, Douyin accounted for 16.6% of the downloads and 7.9% of the Pakistani market. It should be noted that downloads only count App Store and Google Play, excluding third-party Android markets in China and other regions.

In addition, Instagram ranked second with nearly 6300 downloads, up 28.5% from July last year. India is the market with the largest number of downloads, accounting for 35.9%, followed by Brazil with 5.9%.

CTOnews.com learned that the other three apps in the top five were Facebook, WhatsApp and Snapchat.
