CTOnews.com learned that data show that the Biadiping Mountain headquarters Park has reduced emissions by a total of 245681.89 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, successfully creating the first zero-carbon park headquarters of Chinese automobile brands.

BYD said that through new energy vehicles, Yunba and cloud tracks to build a three-dimensional intelligent green transportation system, the utilization rate of new energy vehicles in the park has reached 100%. All the production in the park uses pure electric forklifts, stackers, pallets, heavy trucks and cleaning vehicles developed and manufactured by ourselves to realize green logistics in an all-round way.

In terms of clean energy, the public lighting of the park has been replaced by solar street lamps, solar panels can be fully laid on the roof, and the annual photovoltaic power generation exceeds 4000 million kilowatt-hours. Self-built integrated optical storage energy storage system to effectively ensure the use of electricity in production.

According to reports, BYD also integrates artificial intelligence technology into energy-saving technical transformation, through real-time monitoring, calculation, processing, and adjusting equipment operating parameters to avoid invalid operating power consumption of equipment. A total of more than 200 energy-saving technical renovation projects have been carried out, and the amount of carbon reduction can reach 70400 tons per year.

Production and sales data show that in July 2022, BYD sold 162530 new energy vehicles, compared with 50492 in the same period last year, an increase of 183.1 percent over the same period last year. Overseas sales of 4026 new energy passenger vehicles totaled 803900 this year, an increase of 292.00 percent over the same period last year.
