On Wednesday, Jim Farley, CEO of the US carmaker Ford, recently announced that his company's Fmur150 Lightning electric pickup truck was already the leader in the US electric pickup market, and teased Tesla CEO Elon Musk whether he could launch a cyber electric pickup truck. Musk immediately replied, "Thank you, but I already have one."

Farley trumpeted his electric pickup truck when he announced a new clean energy deal with DTE Energy and teased Musk, "accept that."

When a user shared the video on personal social media Twitter, Musk replied: "thanks, but I already have one."

As competitors, Ford and Tesla often interact. Last year, Mr Musk boasted that Tesla and Ford were the "only two American carmakers that did not go bankrupt" among thousands of car start-ups.

The culprits may refer to Musk's SpaceX project and the racial prejudice lawsuit recently faced by Tesla.
