CTOnews.com, August 12, Apple updated the Mac version of the Shazam music search app for the first time in two years, introducing Apple Silicon chip support for M1 and M2 Mac, and adding an update icon Logo that is consistent with the appearance of macOS Monterey.

The Shazam application for Mac now uses Apple's generic binaries, so it can run natively on Intel Mac and Mac with built-in Apple design chips.
