Shan Qianqian pointed out that Tianma Microelectronics chose to build an R & D center in Wuhu and the largest single new display module factory in the world, which has broad prospects and bright prospects. The municipal party committee and municipal government will push forward and provide front-end services, go all out to ensure the protection of land, energy and other factors, and promote the construction of the project at an early date.

Peng Xuhui introduced the progress of the new display module production line project. He said that since the signing of the project, all preparations have been progressing smoothly.

According to information released by the people's Government of Wuhu City, the project is expected to start production in March 2024.

On June 8, the Wuhu Municipal Government and Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on investment in the new display module production line project. Jiujiang District Government and Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. signed a supplementary agreement on the investment cooperation agreement on the new display module production line project.

It is reported that the total investment of the new display module production line project is 8 billion yuan, and the project is located in Beiwan Intelligent equipment Industrial Park, covering an area of about 650mu. According to the plan, construction will start in November 2022, mass production in 2024 and full production in 2027, forming a new monthly output display module with a capacity of 5.2 million yuan and an annual output value of not less than 12 billion yuan.
