According to DJI, the new Mavic 3M aerial survey UAV integrates visible light camera and multi-spectral camera to provide a panoramic view of crop growth and achieve accurate management of agricultural production. The new Mavic 3M's newly upgraded imaging system integrates a 2000 megapixel visible camera and four 5 megapixel multispectral cameras (green, red, red edge and near infrared). It can realize the application of high-precision aerial survey, crop growth monitoring, natural resources investigation and so on. The fuselage integrated multi-spectral light intensity sensor can collect solar irradiance and record it in the image file. It can compensate the image data in the process of two-dimensional reconstruction, obtain more accurate NDVI results, and improve the accuracy and consistency of the data collected in different periods.

CTOnews.com learned that Mavic 3M with RTK module to achieve centimeter-level high-precision positioning. Flight control, camera and RTK module are synchronized in microseconds to accurately obtain the position information of each camera imaging center, so that Mavic 3M can also achieve image-free aerial survey at high speed.

Mavic 3M has 43 minutes of cruising time and can complete surveying and mapping operations in an area of 3000 mu (2 square kilometers) on a single sortie. The charging housekeeper (optional) supports 100W high-energy fast charging and the aircraft fuselage supports 88W fast charging.

Mavic 3MoO3 map transmission integrates 2 transmit signals and 4 received signals, supporting ultra-long transmission distances of 15 km. Optional DJI Cellular module, 4G enhanced picture transmission and O3 image transmission industry version can work at the same time, even in the environment with mountain and building cover, it can ensure signal stability and flight safety. The fuselage is equipped with a number of wide-angle vision sensors to accurately detect obstacles in all directions to achieve omni-directional obstacle avoidance. In the face of the mountain scene with large slope, combined with the vision sensor under the fuselage, the ground-like aerial survey can be realized directly, bringing the aerial survey efficiency of 850 mu of mountain forest and fruit trees.

In the field of application, Mavic 3M can be used in aerial survey of fruit trees, guidance of accurate variable operations, intelligent field inspection, environmental monitoring and natural resources investigation.
