CTOnews.com November 23 news, DJI has released DJI O3 Air Unit digital image transmission solution, combining the flagship DJI O3+ image transmission and 1/1.7 inch image sensor camera module.

The DJI O3+ image transmission system carried by the DJI O3 Air Unit has a delay of 30 milliseconds and supports up to 50Mbps image transmission rate. Image resolution up to 1080p, while maintaining 100fps high frame rate transmission, and support H.265 video encoding. The image transmission distance can be up to 10 kilometers, and the frequency point with more stable signal can be automatically selected according to the current environment.

DJI O3 Air Unit is equipped with 1/1.7 inch image sensor, FOV (field of view angle) is 155°, equivalent focal length is 12.7mm, maximum aperture f / 2.8. It can shoot up to 4K / 60fps video and support D-Cinelike color mode. The camera module can also be used with the DJI Avata ND mirror set (8/16/32).

CTOnews.com learned that DJI said that after lightweight and miniaturized design, the DJI O3 Air Unit weighs about 36.4 grams at the small sky end and has more adaptation possibilities. Compatible with DJI Goggles 2, DJI FPV Flying Glasses V2, DJI FPV Remote Control 27. Compared with DJI FPV Flying Glasses V2 and DJI FPV Remote Control, DJI Goggles 2 and DJI FPV Remote Control 2 are smaller in size and reduce the overall storage volume.

According to introduction, DJI O3 Air Unit is compatible with Canvas mode, allowing users to customize OSD information displayed on DJI Goggles 2 and DJI FPV flying glasses V2 screen, adjust PID parameters by themselves, and then improve the playability of the whole system, bringing more free use experience.

In terms of price, DJI O3 Air Unit sells for 1499 yuan, including camera module, image transmission module, antenna and three-in-one cable;DJI Goggles 2 is also open for purchase separately, priced at 4499 yuan.
