CTOnews.com November 23, the Android version of Shazam 13.7 has been released recently, and this update focuses on improving desktop Widget. The previous version of Widget is just a shortcut, and users need to open the app to listen to songs and know songs. In the latest version, users no longer need to jump to the inside of the application, but can listen to songs and know music directly on the desktop.

CTOnews.com learned that users can start the song recognition function at the click of a button in the new desktop Widget. Once identified, songs, artists and album covers will be displayed on the gadget, and you can quickly share them with friends.

The default size of the new desktop Widget is 5x1 and supports dynamic color themes, but you can narrow it down to 1 × 1 as before, where it is just a pulsating circle of activity, and art will be displayed once finished. At the same time, you can also let it span the entire screen. By contrast, Shazam's iOS gadget only displays "recently discovered" songs and allows for deeper integration with the control center.
