CTOnews.com, Nov. 23, Abarth, a sports brand of the Stellantis Group, officially launched its first electric car, the Abarth 500e. The new car is based on the earlier Fiat 500e, with more performance-based changes in the kit, color matching and front face, and the maximum horsepower has been increased to 155hp. The original 100 km acceleration time is within 7 seconds.

In terms of appearance, compared with the Fiat 500e, the new Fiat 500e Abarth remains the same in the overall shape, mainly because some details have changed, such as the "500" logo on the front face has been changed to "ABARTH", the "FIAT" logo on the rear of the car has been changed to the "ABARTH" logo, and the detailed design of the front and rear bumper and the shape of the rims have been upgraded.

In terms of interior, the new Fiat 500e Abarth has also made some changes in details, such as changing from a two-spoke steering wheel to a three-spoke steering wheel, with a blue belt reminding the driver of the location of the steering wheel, and the "500" logo in the center has also been changed to a yellow scorpion logo. Technology is also available, including automatic headlights and wipers, key-free, wireless charging board, 360 °panoramic image, JBL sound system and thermostatic air conditioning, etc., as well as the Abarth 500e is also equipped with analog engine sound.

In the power part, the Abarth 500e uses a single electric motor, and the maximum horsepower is increased from the Fiat 500e 117PS to 155PS, 235N ·m. The original factory announced that 0-100km / h can be achieved in only 7 seconds. The battery has a capacity of 42kWh and supports fast charging of 85kW up to 40 km in 5 minutes and 80% in 35 minutes. In addition, the Abarth 500e offers three driving modes for driving options.

CTOnews.com has learned that the Abarth 500e will be ordered overseas from the spring of 2023 and is expected to be available in Europe by the early summer of 2023. Price information is not yet available.
