This is also the heaviest single-span segmental assembly beam in China's 350km/h high-speed railway.

CTOnews.com understands that Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway is an important part of Beijing-Kunming corridor, one of the main channels of "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway in China. The line starts from Chongqing West Railway Station, passes through Chongqing City, Sichuan Province, Guizhou Province and Yunnan Province, and connects to Kunming South Railway Station. The design speed is 350km/h and the total length is 699km. A total of 21 stations are planned to be set up.

Huafu Bridge of Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway is located in High-tech Zone of Chongqing City, with a total length of 1209.09 meters. It is the only segmental assembly beam in Sichuan-Chongqing section of Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway. A total of 15 spans of the bridge have been erected. The maximum weight of the single-segment assembled beam erected this time reaches 180 tons, and the total weight of the whole span beam body is about 2400 tons.

According to the railway department, after the completion of the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway project, the backward transportation infrastructure along the line can be greatly improved and the space-time distance between Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and central Yunnan urban agglomeration can be effectively shortened.
