Baidu's third-quarter revenue was 32.5 billion yuan ($4.57 billion), up 2% from a year earlier, according to the financial report.

The net loss attributable to Baidu was 146 million yuan (About $21 million), diluted loss per ADS 0.87 yuan (about $0.12); Non-GAAP net profit attributable to Baidu was 5.9 billion yuan (about $828 million), up 16% year-on-year, diluted earnings per ADS 16.87 yuan (about $2.37).

CTOnews.com understands that in terms of specific business, Baidu intelligent cloud revenue increased by 24% year-on-year, driving Baidu core non-advertising revenue to increase by 25% year-on-year.

By the end of the third quarter, Baidu ACE intelligent transportation solution had been adopted by 63 cities based on orders with accumulated contract amount exceeding RMB 10 million yuan, and the coverage continued to increase compared with 24 cities a year ago.

Baidu Apollo's intelligent automotive solutions are expected to reach 11.4 billion yuan in the near future. In the third quarter, Baidu deepened its partnership with one of China's largest automotive technology companies, applying ANP (Apollo Pilot Assisted Driving), AVP (Autonomous Parking) and high-precision maps to one of its popular models.

In the third quarter, Baidu's self-driving travel service platform Radish Run provided a total of 474,000 rides, up 311% year-on-year and 65% month-on-month. By the end of the third quarter of 2022, the cumulative number of rides provided to the public by Radish Run reached 1.4 million.

In September, Baidu App's monthly active users reached 634 million, up 5% year-on-year.

In other businesses, according to market data from IDC, Strategy Analytics and Canalys, Xiaodu continued to rank first in shipments of smart slightly and smart screen in China in the second quarter of 2022.
