The essence of the add-on program is the electric car, which uses the engine to burn oil to generate electricity, so that the electric car optimizes the worry of mileage on this basis. So this is one of the reasons why traditional manufacturers like to use plug-in hybrid and new power manufacturers like to use add-on programs.

Of course, another important reason is that the structure of plug-in hybrid system is more complex, and it is more difficult to design and manufacture, so generally only more experienced traditional manufacturers have the ability to develop plug-in hybrid system. The structure of the add-on is relatively simple, and there are mature solutions to choose from, so the new power manufacturers prefer to use the add-on, but the high fuel consumption and high noise are also shortcomings that can not be ignored.
