According to Xinhua News Agency, the National Financial Science and Technology Certification Center in Beijing recently released a list of the first batch of payment institutions that have passed the national certification of "personal Financial Information Protection capability", including five institutions, according to CTOnews.com on November 22.

According to reports, the five institutions include UnionPay Commerce, Harbin Bank, Alipay (China) Network Technology Co., Ltd. (the licensee of Alipay license), Beijing Qianzoubao payment Technology Co., Ltd. (the licensee of Meituan payment license), and Baofu Network Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

At the ceremony, Guojin issued certificates to the first batch of 10 certified institutions, including Baofu, Mengshang Bank, Harbin Bank, UnionPay, Beijing Zhongguancun Software Park, Huawei, Tencent Cloud, Alipay and so on.

CTOnews.com learned that Beijing National Financial Science and Technology Certification Center is a state-level third-party conformity assessment institution approved by the people's Bank of China, the State Administration of Market Supervision and the State recognition and Supervision Commission, and wholly owned by China Financial Electronic Group Co., Ltd., and is currently the only quality certification institution engaged in all categories of financial industry (service, product, quality system) in China. It is also the only state-level protection evaluation institution in the financial industry designated by the Ministry of Public Security and the people's Bank of China.
