CTOnews.com, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) astronaut Chen Dong, who is on a "business trip" at the Chinese space station, recently set a new record, becoming the first astronaut in China to stay in orbit for more than 200 days, according to the official microphone of manned space flight.

CTOnews.com learned that astronaut Chen Dong became the first male astronaut among China's second batch of astronauts to fly with Shenzhou 11 in 2016.

On June 5 this year, the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft was successfully launched, successfully sending Chen Dong, Liu Yang, and Cai Xuzhe into space. Since then, three astronauts have launched a six-month mission.

In the follow-up, the Shenzhou 14 astronauts will greet the visit of the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft inside the space station. At that time, the two crew of Shenzhou 14 and 15 will complete the first astronaut crew rotation in orbit in China's space history.
