Shen Rongjin said that in the future, TSMC's 1nm plant will be located in Longtan, starting from Taoyuan Longtan in the north and passing through Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung. In this way, the entire semiconductor ecology will be connected in series, so that Taixi will have a complete semiconductor technology corridor. It is estimated that TSMC's 1nm plant in the future will bring tens of thousands of engineers with an annual salary of millions to Longtan.

In addition, Shen Rongjin also mentioned that Tainan Shanhua was originally a rural place. After TSMC entered, the local "Liantan Li" became the richest Li (meaning village) in Tainan. The average annual income of residents reached NT $1.68 million, and the population grew by more than 1% every month. This is the youngest and highest fertility rate in Tainan. Therefore, the entry of a nano factory in Longtan will certainly bring prosperous economic development to the region.
