Beijing, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) Twitter employees should now experience Elon Musk's "hard core" high-intensity work culture. In fact, Tesla employees already learned it ten years ago.

When Tesla began to deliver the first batch of Model S in June 2012, Musk sent a memo to all Tesla employees entitled "Super hardcore". In an email, he warned that expanding Model S production would require "great effort".

"Please prepare for a much greater intensity of work than most of you have experienced before. an industry revolution is not for the timid, but there is nothing more rewarding or exciting than that. I will personally ensure that those who achieve outstanding results receive special rewards, which is fair and right." He said.

A few weeks later, he sent another email titled "the Real Test." "Please talk to your spouses, children, relatives and friends and explain what I said in this email," he told Tesla employees. "this means that they will see you a lot less in the next six months, and there will be almost no holidays. please reduce your vacation and travel plans to the absolute minimum that can maintain your sanity and avoid divorce." That's what he said.

Musk is known as a workaholic. He has said he works up to 120 hours a week, sleeping on the floor of Tesla's factory and Twitter headquarters. Musk wants his employees to work as hard as he does. Earlier this month, a picture of a Twitter manager sleeping in his office went viral online.
