With regard to the question of the lunar research station, he replied: the fourth phase of the lunar exploration project includes Chang'e 7, Chang'e 8 and so on. We will build a basic type of lunar scientific research station on the moon, including lander, lunar rover, leapfrog, and orbiter. We can observe it there at any time. The jumper has to take off from the moon, and it can take off many times.

There may be more than 180 consecutive polar days at the south pole of the moon, so there is at least a little light, so the temperature should reach about-80 ℃ to-100 ℃. At this time, people and machines can still carry it for a long time, so we have to choose the South Pole, and our country is the first country to propose to set up a research station at the south pole of the moon.

For this lunar research station, he said that we intend to first form the basic type of an international scientific research station, and then expand into an international lunar research station on this basis. So how to achieve it? This is how he introduced it:

The first is a safe landing. For example, we are now developing a new energy system. If we use nuclear energy on it, we can solve the energy problem with high power for a long time. There are also communication facilities with websites and base stations to communicate with the ground, such as with Mars or other planets.

He also said that the moon will become a forward base for our deep space exploration.

In the future, there must be someone on the moon, go up and work for a short period of time, and then come back and go up again after a period of time. Of course, the main components are these parts, energy problems, traffic problems, communication problems, human life support system.

So some people say that it will save time and effort to take off from the moon, fly to Mars and fly to other planets, and it will be much less difficult to take off from the moon.
