CTOnews.com, Nov. 21 (Xinhua)-- A plus Ace 2 phone is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, 5000 megapixel main camera, Android 13 operating system and 100W fast charging. One plus Ace 2 may make its debut in 2023.

Yogesh Brar, the whistleblower, said the phone will serve as the successor to one plus Ace and may be renamed realme GT Neo 4. The original one plus Ace was renamed one plus 10R in India. It is said that one plus Ace 2 will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, which is in contrast to MediaTek Tianji 8100 on one plus Ace.

Unlike previous products that support 150W fast charging, one plus Ace 2 may only have a 100W charging speed.

CTOnews.com learned that one plus Ace 2 will be equipped with a 6.7in 1.5K AMOLED punch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is expected to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, with 8GB / 12GB / 16GB memory and 128GB / 256GB storage. The phone may be pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system.

In terms of imaging, one plus Ace 2 expects three rear cameras, including a 5000-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel sensor. A 1600-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chat. The phone will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 100W charging.

By contrast, the OnePlus Ace uses a 5000-megapixel camera, but uses Sony IMX766 sensors. The rest of the optical devices and specifications (except chipsets) are basically the same.
