CTOnews.com November 21 news, today, China Telecom disclosed the main operating data for October 2022.

Data show that as of October 2022, the number of China Telecom mobile subscribers reached 390.48 million, with a net increase of 590000 in October and a cumulative net increase of 18.05 million this year. Among them, the number of customers of China Telecom 5G package reached 256.92 million, with a net increase of 5.88 million in October and a cumulative net increase of 69.12 million this year.

CTOnews.com learned that by October 2022, the number of China Telecom cable broadband subscribers had reached 179.71 million, with a net increase of 1.03 million in October and a cumulative net increase of 10 million this year; the number of fixed telephone subscribers reached 105.47 million, with a net decrease of 30,000 in October and a net decrease of 1.17 million this year.

For comparison, in the first three quarters of 2022, China Telecom had a net increase of 17.46 million subscribers to about 390 million, while 5G package users had a net increase of 63.24 million to about 251 million, with a penetration rate of 64.4% and an ARPU of 45.5 yuan for mobile users.
