The C919 flight is a verification test flight before the official delivery of a large domestic aircraft to the world's first user (China Eastern Airlines). In order to ensure this training flight, the ground support team such as Comac Test Center and customer Service Center dispatched nearly 100 support personnel. The inspector of the East China Regional Administration of Civil Aviation and the first batch of pilots of China Eastern Airlines also arrived at Yangtai Airport at the first time.

In order to ensure the flight of the C919, Yangtai Airport attached great importance to and carefully prepared, transferred the business backbone, held many coordination meetings and formulated a special support plan; air traffic control, security inspection, locomotive, special car, yard and other support departments refine the process and draw up plans to ensure that the support work is orderly and efficient.

CTOnews.com learned that the C919 recently completed its first test flight at a high altitude airport. The C919 large airliner is the first trunk jet airliner developed by China in accordance with international airworthiness standards and with independent intellectual property rights. It was established in 2007 and first flew in 2017 with a seat class of 158,192 seats and a range of 4075-5555 km. After completing all the airworthiness certification work in September 2022, it received the model certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and will deliver the first aircraft by the end of 2022.
