CTOnews.com November 20 news, Sony's official website announced that firmware updates for FX3 and FX30 cinema machines contain BUG (Ver 2.01 and 1.01 firmware), which may cause the device to fail to operate properly. Download of the firmware has been suspended and the cause is being investigated.

CTOnews.com has learned that users have reported that the latest firmware of Sony's FX3 and FX30 cinema machines may cause the device to be constantly rebooted and can only be temporarily relieved by pulling out the battery.

Sonny's full-frame movie camera FX3 was released in February 2021 with a single suggested retail price of 32000 yuan.

Sony APS-C Picture Movie camera FX30 was released in September this year, with a single suggested retail price of 14000 yuan.

The update announcement said that Sony FX30 1.01 firmware fixed the phenomenon that the picture rotation information recorded by the fuselage might not rotate when displayed on the computer, as well as fixed the problem that touch operation could not be carried out from Imaging Edge Mobile when the DISP (screen display) setting option was "no display information", while improving the operational stability of the device.
