After we reflected and verified with FF USA, a preliminary investigation assessed that the test equipment carried by an engineering development vehicle caused the fire.

It is understood that on November 15, US time, an engineering development vehicle equipped with special test instruments and sensors (to obtain test and performance data) caught fire on its way to the test site for special purpose testing. No one was injured in this incident, we followed all due precautions and relevant procedures, and carried out appropriate emergency treatment. At the same time, we thank the local fire department for its quick response and assistance.

CTOnews.com learned that the Faraday Future FF 91 Futurist has been officially certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (Environmental Protection Agency,EPA) and the California Air Resources Council (CARB) for zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) with a range of 381mph. Faraday plans to complete the testing, verification and certification of FF 91 electric vehicles in the fourth quarter of this year, and begin mass production.
