CTOnews.com, November 20, according to CCTV news, the 2022 China Automotive Chip Summit Forum was held in Beijing on November 18, and more than a dozen domestic automotive chip products were released.

The domestic automotive chip products released this time include 9 automotive key chips, 2 automotive core controllers, 1 automotive operating system and vehicle software solutions, covering six major systems: automotive electronic chassis, body, power, vehicle control, intelligent driving, and cockpit networking.

Statistics show that automotive chips and other electronic devices and systems are expected to account for 50% of the total automobile cost in 2030, and the value of automotive chips has increased significantly.

CTOnews.com learned that global semiconductor manufacturers'8-inch fab capacity is expected to increase by 20 per cent between 2021 and 2025, according to the International Semiconductor Industry Association (SEMI). Among them, the production capacity of automobile and power semiconductor wafer factories will be at the top of the growth rate of 58%.
