CTOnews.com, Nov. 20 (Xinhua)-- Elon Musk (Elon Musk) is considering firing more Twitter employees as soon as next Monday, this time targeting sales and partner business units, according to Bloomberg. On Thursday, a large number of engineers resigned.

Earlier, Musk issued an ultimatum to Twitter employees: either work long hours in the more "hard-core" Twitter or leave the company with severance pay.

Employees in more technical positions choose to leave than those in sales, partners and similar positions, according to people familiar with the matter. These people spoke on condition of anonymity because of the discussion of internal affairs.

CTOnews.com learned that after Musk acquired Twitter on October 28, the company announced 50 per cent layoffs of about 3700 people. According to Platformer, Twitter also terminated the contracts of 4400 contract workers, accounting for 80% of the 5500 contract workers.
