The $399 base model (A315-24p) comes with AMD Ryzen 37320U quad-core CPU (2.4~4.1GHz), onboard 8GB LPDDR5 memory, 128GB PCIe storage, expandable to 512GB, and a 15.6inch FHD IPS screen.

The processor integrates Radeon 610m graphics card, which is the entry-level APU of the Ryzen 7020 series codenamed Mendocino in the previous revelations, uses AMD's Zen 2+RDNA 2 architecture and is based on 6nm technology.

According to reports, the Radeon 610m kernel display contains two GPU cores and a total of 128shader units, which is not conspicuous in game performance, so it is very suitable for students to use in online classes, and it can also drive up to four monitors.

If necessary, users can also choose the AMD Ryzen 57520U quad-core CPU version.

The processor base frequency increases to 2.8GHz and acceleration frequency increases to 4.3Ghz, but other aspects are basically the same, such as the number of cores, cache size, 610m GPU and 15W TDP.

The PC supports Wi-Fi 6 wireless networks and provides two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-An interfaces (5Gbps) and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 fully functional Type-C interface (10Gbps), as well as HDMI 2.1 interfaces.

Acer said the model was equipped with three lithium-ion batteries, but did not list the exact battery capacity rating, with a nominal life span of 11 hours. The real range is still unknown.

The model is only available in silver, and its material is unknown, but it is 0.74 inches thick and weighs 3.92 pounds (1.8 kilograms). In other words, this entry-level model is only one hair thicker than Dell's XPS 15, but half a pound lighter.

In other ways, the laptop runs Windows 11 Home S Lite Edition. If necessary, buyers can choose to convert to the full Windows 11 home version for free, but it is irreversible.
