CTOnews.com, Nov. 19 (Xinhua)-- after releasing Android 12L for Surface Duo and Surface Duo 2 last month, Microsoft provided another 11-month update for both phones. This update doesn't introduce many new features, but the carrier's AT&T version of the original Surface Duo can be upgraded from Android 11 to Android 12L.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft said the November update summary fixed the problems outlined in Google's November 2022 Android security bulletin, but did not provide a complete update log.

However, in addition to installing this monthly update summary, the carrier AT&T version of the original Surface Duo can be upgraded from Android 11 to Android 12L. Upgrading to Android 12L can experience many changes brought about by Microsoft, and some of the user interfaces are inspired by the Win11 platform.
