CTOnews.com, November 18, the waiting time for the iPhone 14 Pro series has reached an extremely long level two months after its release, while the iPhone 14 standard version does not make up for the huge demand.

In a note to investors from the UBS investment bank, analyst David Vogt said the waiting time for the iPhone 14 Pro model has increased again. UBS tracks iPhone availability in 30 countries and waits for about 34 days in most markets, including the United States.

This is an increase from seven days at the beginning of November and 19 days at the end of October. CTOnews.com learned that in China, the delivery time is now 36 days, an increase of 10 days from the beginning of November.

UBS had expected people to buy low-end iPhone 14 standard models instead because consumers had to wait a long time to receive the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, this is not the case. David Vogt says the wait time for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus shows that their requirements are "irrelevant".

Consumers can go directly to Apple's Apple Store retail store or carrier store, or order online and get the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus with little waiting time.

While the popularity of the iPhone 14 Pro series is a good thing for Apple, UBS believes there are some risks if it fails to meet demand during the critical holiday season. If the waiting time does not improve in the coming weeks, iPhone shipments will be much lower than expected.

As a result, Apple's iPhone revenue is likely to be flat from a year earlier, while it is expected to grow by about 2 per cent, with quarterly iPhone revenue growth of nearly 10 per cent in September.

UBS expects iPhone shipments to reach 83 million in the December quarter, slightly lower than its forecast of 86 million earlier in November.
