CTOnews.com November 18, the official version of macOS platform virtual machine software VMware Fusion 13 Pro has been released with some new features: support for macOS Ventura 13, support for virtual TPM 2.0 modules and Windows 11, and support for running ARM virtual machines on Apple Silicon Mac.

System requirements:

Hardware Intel or Apple Silicon Mac model. Support for Mac models with macOS 12 Monterey or later

Software macOS 12 Monterey and macOS 13 Ventura

Support for the new client operating system:

Microsoft Windows 11

Microsoft Windows Server 2022

RHEL 9

Debian 11.x

Ubuntu 22.04

Support for Apple Silicon Mac:

Fusion now supports running Arm virtual machines on Apple Silicon Mac

General software packages for x86 and Apple Silicon:

Provides a single general software package (.dmg) for Intel and Apple Silicon Mac

New Virtual trusted platform Module 2.0:

Fusion now provides virtual trusted platform module (version 2.0) devices to support Windows 11 and other operating systems that require TPM.

New full or fast encryption features:

You can now choose between security (full) and performance (fast) encryption options.

Improved graphics support: OpenGL 4.3:

Fusion now supports OpenGL 4.3 for Windows and Linux on Intel Mac, and Linux arm64 virtual machines on Apple Silicon Mac.

Support for WDDM 1.2:

Fusion now supports WDDM (Windows display driver Model) version 1.2 for virtual machines.

Support for vSphere 8 and ESXi 8:

In addition to the standard power operation of ESXi hosts, Fusion 13 also supports:

Connect to an ESXi 8 host or vCenter Server 8

Upload or download virtual machines between ESXi and Fusion (currently Intel Mac only)

Create a new virtual machine on a remote server from the local desktop
