CTOnews.com, November 18 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft has admitted that Windows devices have problems related to Kerberos certification after installing the November update. The good news today is that Microsoft has fixed the problem.

CTOnews.com learned that Kerberos authentication is a computer network security protocol used to validate service requests from two or more trusted hosts on an untrusted network, such as the Internet.

The Kerberos authentication problems encountered by Win10 and Win11 devices occurred after installing the cumulative updates released on Tuesday, November patch, resulting in domain user login failure, domain user remote desktop connection failure, and printing may require domain user authentication.

On the Windows Health control panel, Microsoft said it had released an emergency out-of-band update (OOB) that required installation of all devices that enabled domain control in the environment. Microsoft says no other changes are needed for client or server devices.
