According to reports, take the MAG B650M MORTAR WIFI mortar as an example, look for the CPU frequency doubling mode in the OC menu of BIOS, and set it to ADAPTIVE,Performance Switch to also maintain ADVANCED. There are 4 gears in Performance Switch (adaptive dual-mode overclocking), among which LEVEL1~3 is the preset gear on the motherboard, which can be set according to your own needs.

After setting the option to ADVANCED, adjust the CCD0 CPU RATIO setting to the value you need, such as 54. When the frequency doubling is set to 54, it is actually 5.4G (100 external frequency x54). After saving and restarting, CPU will continue to run according to 5.4G. When CPU enters the light load state, PBO mode will be enabled, when the main frequency will break the default value of 5.4G, and after entering overload, it will return to 5.4G overclocking mode.

According to the official explanation, adapting to dual-mode overclocking simply means keeping CPU at a high frequency and switching to PBO at low load to hit the high frequency under single thread. Under high load, it can not only maintain the set overclocking value of CPU frequency, but also break the preset value timely.
