CTOnews.com, Nov. 17, according to Zhengzhou Railway, another high-speed railway in Henan is about to start construction. On November 14, Henan Public Resources Trading Center issued two consecutive bidding notices for construction bidding and construction supervision of Pingzhou high-speed rail projects, which show that the construction of Pingzhou high-speed rail project will start at the end of December with a planned construction period of 3.5 years.

The newly-built Pingdingshan-Luohe-Zhoukou high-speed railway (Pingdingzhou high-speed railway) is located in the core development area of the Central Plains urban agglomeration, with a large population of prefectures and cities, but the urbanization rate is low. According to two tender notices, the Pingzhou high-speed railway starts from Pingdingshan West Station of Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway, and is introduced into Luohe West Station of Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway from south to north, and finally reaches Zhoukou East Station of Zhengfu High-speed Railway, with a new main line of about 199.7 kilometers.

CTOnews.com learned that there are six stations in Pingdingshan West, Pingdingshan South, Wuyang North, Luohe West, Zhoukou West and Zhoukou East, among which Pingdingshan West Station, Luohe West Station and Zhoukou East Station are existing stations. Simultaneous construction of the main line of Pingdingshan West Station and the Zhengzhou direction of Zhengzhou Railway Station, and the main line of Zhoukou East Station to Zhengfu high-speed railway.
