RG620T provides two major models: RG620T-NA for North America and RG620T-EU for EMEA, Asia Pacific and Brazil. This module not only provides the T830 chip platform with high 5G network rate, quad-core A55 CPU, Wi-Fi 7 connection and other characteristics, but also in antenna band design, Flash memory, QuecOpen upgrade. Meet the needs of 5G FWA market for high performance and flexible configuration of 5G terminals.

The 5G module RG620T equipped with MediaTek T830 conforms to the 3GPP R16 standard and supports 5G Sub-6GHz band and 5G SA / NSA dual network mode.
In terms of data, RG620T supports up to 300MHz downlink bandwidth and NR 4CA (four-carrier aggregation) in FDD and TDD modes, built-in terminal products of this module can achieve the highest 5G download rate experience of 7.01Gbps, while support of up to 200MHz uplink bandwidth and NR 2CA (dual carrier aggregation) allows the highest uplink rate to soar to 2.5Gbps. The large bandwidth of RG620T can solve the problem of real-time wireless transmission of high-definition XR content, and its low-delay technology can effectively reduce the problem of vertigo caused by picture delay and achieve an immersive experience that combines the real world and the digital world.
CTOnews.com learned that in terms of terminal manufacturers such as CPE, the T830 platform installed inside RG620T uses the 4nm process, integrates Arm Cortex-A55 quad-core CPU, has a main frequency up to 2.2GHz, and has a built-in M805G modem. The terminal product with remote communication RG620T can effectively make use of the surplus CPU performance in the chip, improve the processing efficiency and save the cost.
In addition, the SOC chipset scheme does not need Host docking routing, which can help customer terminals reduce the debugging process of later USB or PCIe interfaces, and is not limited by both, so as to achieve ultra-high throughput of network connections. At the same time, with hardware-level MediaTek Network acceleration engine (Network Processing Unit), Wi-Fi Network acceleration engine (Wi-Fi Offload Engine) and MediaTek 5G UltraSave power-saving technology, RG620T will further improve the throughput performance on the basis of reducing 5G communication power consumption.
In order to improve the application scope and efficiency of the terminal, RG620T has also achieved a comprehensive upgrade at the Wi-Fi and antenna level. While supporting EasyMesh ™and the more secure WPA3 R3 encryption protocol, RG620T provides a variety of Wi-Fi configuration combinations according to the needs of scenarios and terminals. For example, the tri-band 4x4 Wi-Fi 7 configuration scheme is suitable for 5G CPE terminal scenarios. For 5G mobile hotspot devices, dual-band 2x2 Wi-Fi 7 scheme can be adopted, especially Wi-Fi 7 has the characteristics of faster transmission speed, wider channel, more efficient QAM modulation, adaptive connection and so on, so that the terminal can integrate 5G high speed and Wi-Fi 7 high concurrency technology at the same time.
In addition, RG620T can realize the simultaneous reception of 8 antennas in antenna design, which will bring high-speed and stable 5G network to indoor complex environment and outdoor long-distance environment.
Removable RG620T supports more freedom of customization and selection. For example, for the storage device Flash memory, customers can choose different combinations of storage capacity according to the needs of the project when the terminal is put into the market in the later stage, and provide a Memory configuration that better matches the needs of the project. At the same time, the module will continue to use the self-developed QuecOpen platform to help customers improve the efficiency of terminal development and shorten the time to market.
