CTOnews.com, November 17, according to Nvidia's latest video card firmware update, some RTX 4090T4080 video cards may cause a black screen during system boot, which can be repaired by updating to the latest firmware.

Nvidia said that to ensure compatibility with some UEFI SBIOS, Nvidia graphics card firmware may need to be updated. If there is no update, some video cards in the motherboard in UEFI mode may appear black at startup and will not display properly until the operating system loads.

In the announcement, Nvidia only mentioned the impact of the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 two latest graphics cards, other products are not expected to be affected.
