It is reported that Polestar is a high-performance electric vehicle brand jointly owned by Volvo Automobile Group and Zhejiang Geely holding Group, focusing on high-performance electric vehicles.

So far, the company has released only three products, namely, the plug-in hybrid Polestar 1, the all-electric Polestar 2 sedan, and the all-electric SUV Polestar 3.

Among them, the Polestar 3, which was launched in October, starts at $85300, comparable to the $85095 BMW iX and the $92350 Porsche Cayenne S. In China, the car sells for 880,000 yuan and 1.03 million yuan.

Local time on Wednesday, foreign media said that the annual production and sales of Polestar are conservatively growing, and this year also continues to maintain this momentum. Ingerat says this is mainly achieved with the help of Volvo and Geely. However, much of the company's success also depends on its ability to secure commercial orders for its vehicles.

In early April, Polestar reached an agreement to purchase electric vehicles with Hertz, a car rental service provider. Under the agreement, Hertz will purchase 65000 electric vehicles from Polestar over the next five years.
